Marc Pairon - "BANKSY IN UKRAINE - F*CK PTN!" – 2023

In the art book "BANKSY IN UKRAINE - F*CK PTN!" Belgian best-selling author and art expert Mark Pyron imprints one of the pages of the mysterious Banksy's work, which he created in Ukraine during the first year of the full-scale Russian invasion. The book is complemented by a description and illustrations of the postal issue "PTN PNH!", presented by Ukrposhta on February 24, 2023.

This charitable publication is a tribute to all Ukrainian children who became innocent victims of this terrible war.
The author will use the funds from the sale of the book to rebuild Ukrainian schools and playgrounds.
The art books published by Flemish bestselling author Marc Pairon include "BANKSY THE WALLED OFF ART EDITIONS ARE SOLD OUT!" and "ART DECO CERAMICS Made in Belgium".
A number of sample copies of the art book 'BANKSY IN UKRAINE - F*CK PTN! ' were handed over in August 2023 to VIPS in Ukraine: President Zelensky, Igor Smelyanskyi (Ukrposhta, Director General), Natalia Mukhina (Ukrposhta, Head of Philatelic Department), Ivan Golub (Ukrposhta, Art Director), Oleksandr Sakharuk (Borodyanka, Mayor), Nataliia Novikova (Borodyanka, Alderwoman for Education) and 1 copy is now part of the permanent collection of the Memorial Museum in Borodyanka.

The art book "BANKSY IN UKRAINE - F*CK PTN!" recounts the graffiti Banksy created in Ukraine, the Ukrposhta issues that came out of it and the child suffering caused by the war. In the spirit of Banksy, the Charles Catteau Foundation asbl - in consultation with Ukrposhta and in a direct relationship with the Borodyanka municipal council - has decided to donate the entire selling price of the publication and the entire crowdfunding proceeds to the reconstruction of educational institutions and playgrounds in Borodyanka.
In this way, every contribution - brick by brick, as it were - gets a concrete destination.

As early as the first week of the Russian invasion, the Charles Catteau Foundation provided warm shelter in Belgium for some 60 refugee Ukrainian mothers and children. Previously, the foundation realised various humanitarian projects in Belgium, Palestine, Senegal and England.
