A superb roman bronze cast seated Eros. The childlike god with a chubby face. Depicted with his young body naked, seated on a rock with his legs open. His left hand raised holding probably a small dolphin. With long curly hair and detailed modelling of his facial features, Probably an applique or ornamental fitting for a chariot or furniture. With wood and metal custom stand.

Condition: Good condition. Small orifice on the base ( see pictures). Mineral deposits on its surface.

Dimensions: 7,50 cm.

Provenance: French auction house. Formerly french private collection.
