Impressive pair of Louis XV style figural bird candle holders in the manner of Sevres. Porcelain bodies depict parrots perched atop trees. The sconces and bases are made of ormolu gilt bronze and cast in ornate floral and foliate fashion - bronze branches encircle the candlesticks. The porcelain is finished in vivid polychrome enamelling in predominantly red and green shades.
