MY STORY Since I was a child I have loved the art of the carpet: I have knotted, designed, sold and even exported it. After completing my university studies in Tabriz (my hometown), having attended two fine arts courses and taught for a few years, I decided to come to Italy, a country that has always appreciated and loved this splendid art, to spread it. Since 2009 I have been a member of the National Association of Safe Carpets as a councilor and Since 2011 I have been enrolled in the role of appraiser and expert of national and foreign carpets and tapestries at the Brescia chamber of commerce. Since 2014 I have been enrolled in the role of technical consultant / Expert and official appraiser held at the Court of Brescia. In 1999 I inaugurated my first gallery of fine carpets, Galleria Farah 1970, in the historic center of Palazzolo sull'Oglio, in the province of Brescia. In 2002 I opened the second Galleria Farah 1970 in the historic center of Sarnico, in the province of Bergamo. In 2012 a new showroom of antique and contemporary carpets was opened in the historic center of Chiari in the province of Brescia (in this showroom we are open by appointment only). I have maintained my family's historic shop in Tabriz in the Grand Bazaar and have a collection point in Tehran, the capital of Iran.
