Esemplare delle specie Cymatoceras caratterizzato da una conchiglia discoidale a spirale, con una sezione trasversale che varia da subcircolare a subquadrata. Le sue spire sono appiattite, con una leggera depressione sulla parte superiore. La conchiglia e ornamentata da coste radiali, e da solchi che si estendono lungo la lunghezza della spirale.
