L'Atlasaurus è un dinosauro il cui scheletro pressoché intero è stato ritrovato sulle montagne dell'Atlas, in Marocco. Il nome deriva sia dal luogo del ritrovamento, sia per le dimensioni dell'animale che raggiunge i 15 metri di lunghezza, è vissuto nel medio Giurassico, fra il Bathoniano e il Calloviano (circa 161-168 milioni di anni fa).
