    Dear Buyer. We check our watch before shipment, so the chronograph is working when we ship the watch. You have purchased a Seiko SSC015, and it is a solar diver chronograph watch. This watch has screw-down chronograph crowns. Please try to unscrew the crown and press the buttons again. Otherwise, if you observed that the seconds hand is ticking twice every two seconds, then it is indicating that the watch is lower in power and is at power conservation mode and the chronograph function will not work. Please place the watch over a sunny window for about 15-20 minutes to recharge the battery. After the seconds hand return to tick in 1 second interval, the chronograph mode should be functional again. Thank you and I remain at your disposal. Kind Regards, CA
