The only thing is a new item is sold by the manufacturer for a little bit more, I might have bought it new. But it has nothing to do with the seller.

However, in my opinion the photo’s give a good indication of the prints you received and in the second line of the description the origin of the prints is clearly described : 'From the famous Larousse medical illustree, France, 1921'. 
I hope that you can appreciate these
nice prints even though the origin was different than you expected.
