Mi sono aggiudicata un prodotto ad asta senza riserva. Dopo aver pagato, il venditore mi ha scritto dicendo che il prezzo d’asta è troppo basso e quindi avrebbe annullato il contratto e l’invio.

Grazie per il tuo feedback. Apprezzo sinceramente chi valorizza il design fatto a mano, ma in questo caso il prezzo finale dell’asta era ben al di sotto del costo dei materiali! I miei pezzi sono interamente realizzati a mano, non sono prodotti di massa, e ciascuno rappresenta molte ore di lavoro e competenza. Capisco la tua delusione, ma la mia pratica riguarda l’artigianato e il giusto valore, non il prezzo da occasione.

Hoogste bod gedaan op een item. Verkoper was niet tevreden met bod en heeft dus de verkoop geannuleerd. Ik ben blijkbaar zeker niet de eerste en ook niet de laatste.. Toont geen begrip!

Het lijkt erop dat er een gebrek aan begrip is over de reden waarom ik de verkoop annuleer. Ik heb mijn standpunt al uitgelegd in onze privéberichten, maar het lijkt erop dat je je alleen richtte op het proberen een koopje te krijgen zonder de waarde van de handgemaakte designlamp die ik aanbied in overweging te nemen. Het uiteindelijke bod van 25€ voor een gloednieuw item was ver onder mijn verwachtingen. Zoals ik eerder heb aangegeven, heb ik het recht om verkopen te annuleren als het bod niet voldoet aan mijn verwachtingen, en ik zal dit blijven doen. Het is echt jammer om te zien dat jij, en je partner die een beoordeling eerder plaatste, de tijd hebben genomen om mijn "kopersbeoordeling" sectie te gebruiken om mijn beoordelingsscore te schaden, en ik vind dat heel onterecht. Als je de tijd had genomen om de beschrijving van het item zorgvuldig te lezen, zou je begrijpen dat ik de waarde van het item duidelijk heb vermeld en bieders heb aangemoedigd om bewust te bieden.
Won an auction with no minimum bid, but the seller refused to send the package. Very disappointing. I hope the platform ensures sellers honor their listings to maintain trust.

Thank you so much for dedicating some time on your Sunday to write your "feedback." It’s fascinating how some bidders seem to misunderstand the concept of bidding "conscientiously", which I kindly request in my listings. I clearly state the retail price to guide bidders on the true value of my work—I guess this isn’t a bargain basement. If you hoped for a 30,00€ brand new design lamp, perhaps the listing text wasn’t fully read? My work stands for quality, craftsmanship, and respect for design—not for undervaluation. Maybe Catawiki should indeed reconsider the kind of buyers allowed, as maintaining trust is a two-way street.
Seller misuses platform. Puts items up for bid without a reserve price, but doesn’t ship if his personal minimum price is not met. The fix is seller using reserved not a buyer winning at low price.

I'm really sorry and I find it disappointing that you fail to appreciate the value of original design and craftsmanship. My work is not mass-produced, nor is it disposable; it reflects significant effort, skill, and high-quality materials. Misuse? Frankly? How could you expect a unique, handmade product to be sold for a price that doesn’t even cover basic costs? This platform is not for exploiting artists or undervaluing their work. In the end respect for design and craftsmanship should not need explanation.

Si j'ai annulé la vente, c'était pour une raison valable, car je suis profondément engagé à maintenir la qualité et l'équité de mon entreprise. Chaque transaction doit refléter la véritable valeur du travail et des efforts investis dans la création de mes produits, et je ne peux pas accepter des offres qui les sous-évaluent. He refused to sell for winning bid, while no reserve price! Same type lamp offered by him multiple times on catawiki, sold for less then our winning bid, or not sold at all. Seller should be banned.

I find your feedback quite unfair and disappointing. As the designer of this piece, I pour passion and dedication into every creation. While I understand Catawiki is an auction platform, I retain the right to decline a final bid if it does not reflect the true value of my work. Maybe I should be banned for refusing to sell my art at prices that undervalue the effort and craftsmanship behind it, but I stand by the worth of my designs. Lamp is very beautiful, but it requires some adjustements I was pleased to do myself, but I need dismounting instructions I asked for several times: cord is too short so lamp is actually useless. Pity
