    After a month, I have not received my item. The buyer tells me to speak to Catawiki, who offers no solution on the rare times that they reply. Buyer protection is a scam, received no refund.

    Thank you for your review. Unfortunately, you're omitting a few details. We informed you promptly that there was a problem with the delivery (we always check the tracking information), but you only responded after 9 days. We contacted Catawiki immediately (same date), and the same was true from them, no/late response 9 days!!. Their cooperation was necessary for the insurance. We then spent three weeks trying to resolve the situation for both of us. We even offered you a refund, even though we've now lost the lot and are therefore paying twice, but you refused because we don't reimburse the shipping costs. My advice to contact Catawiki still stands, as they were "too busy" to help you or us. We always help our buyers if there's a problem, but other than personally delivering it to Portugal, we don't see how to resolve this. Lesson learned, no Smart Shipping during the holidays for us, that way Catawiki will not be involved and we can contact the insurance directly. K.M.

    I paid 54 euros for the shipment via Post and I had to go to the Post Office to check the parcel. The price of the shipment is 5-10 euros…

    Thank you for the review. I am sorry that the shipping was so expensive. We only ship with Smart Shipping as stated in all our lot descriptions. This means 2 things: All the shipping is pre paid via Catawiki/Sendcloud, i assume you are in a country that is not covered by Sendcloud in the normal way and that is why the shipping was so expensive. For countries that are included it is a lot cheaper. We as a seller(s) don't have any influence on the set pre paid shipping costs and we DON'T get ANY money from those costs. We state in our lots to always check the before bidding. We can only advise you and all the buyers on Catawiki to do so. Meaning that i think it is best to contact Catawiki/Sendcloud regarding this issue. If there is a problem with the actual items please let us know and we will always try to assist, but this is not something we can solve. Again thank you for the review, we see them as a chance to learn. K.M.
