    Riconfermiamo l'offerta di condividere i costi di riparazione a seguito di una diagnosi ufficiale presso un Centro Assistenza Autorizzato Seiko L'orologio è stato spedito il 24 ottobre con un movimento e una batteria secondaria nuovi, di cui garantiamo la funzionalità. I problemi descritti (ora indietro di 3 ore e ricarica lenta) sono tipici della configurazione iniziale di un orologio solare GPS: La differenza di 3 ore indica un'impostazione errata. È necessaria una correzione manuale del segnale GPS all'aperto per calibrare automaticamente ora e fuso. Per la carica iniziale, l'orologio deve essere esposto per diverse ore alla luce diretta del sole. La luce artificiale è insufficiente e molto lenta. La segnalazione, avvenuta il 2 dicembre per un oggetto ricevuto il 24 ottobre, esula dal periodo di contestazione immediato.
