Apparently the watch (which was live for 5/7days on this platform) was sold before the auction went live, therefore my order was cancelled. It can happen, but still highly disappointing !

We understand your frustration, but the situation wasn’t as it may have seemed.

We were away for the weekend and, unfortunately, couldn’t cancel the order via mobile, which caused the delay in responding.

The item had actually been sold prior to the auction going live. We attempted to cancel it in advance, but the platform didn’t allow us to do so - we have email confirmation to support this.

To be clear, the final price was absolutely acceptable to us. The issue wasn’t the amount, but simply that the item was no longer available to ship.

Apologies again for the inconvenience caused.

Strangely enough, the watch broke down the day after the auction ended and couldn't be repaired for a week and a half. Dishonest seller. I don't recommend it. 0/10

We're sorry about the situation and understand your frustration. We're based in Madeira, where good watchmakers are very hard to find, and the only one we trust locally currently has a large backlog of work, which unfortunately causes delays.

That being said, we're more than happy to honor the auction price once the watch is repaired and ready. We acknowledge that we should have checked the watch again before the auction ended, and for that we're sorry.

Our intention was never to cause inconvenience. We take all feedback seriously and will make sure no more watches are listed without being properly checked.

The pictures were not showing adequately the conditions of the watch. It arrived in a way worse condition than shown.

I’m sorry, but the description and pictures were clear. We uploaded the pictures in the highest quality possible, it’s not our fault that Catawiki lowers the quality/compresses them.

The watch was in very good condition as it was described. The box was the original in good condition.

The watch was shipped in perfect working order. The buyer mentioned returns before receiving it, said he loved it on arrival, and only two weeks later claimed issues without evidence.

Hello, these automatic watches don't have manual wind, you have to shake it. I can guarantee it works, as it was fully tested before shipping.
