    Thank you for your feedback. The Pink color of the stone is as described by the Lab (not our personal opinion) under test lighting conditions. With Pink Sapphires you may see a purplish hue depending on light conditions and sensitivity of eye. Human eyes are not identical instruments and color interpretation is very complex. Our L-cones (red-sensitive) and M-cones (green-sensitive) overlap slightly in their wavelength ranges. So if a stone reflects both red (around 650 nm) and blue-violet (around 420–440 nm) light: • Someone with slightly stronger red sensitivity will perceive a pinker tone. • Another with more balanced red/blue response will see a purplish tint. We still believe that Pink is the dominant color of this stone. You have got a beautiful stone at a great price. Hope you can see the positive side of this transaction.
