This was listed by Shozan, and Showa Period. Can't be both so I guessed on the master. Wrong move, no disclaimer to say it was a later replica and not an original. I would bet other lots are the same!

I am sorry that this situation has upset you. However, based on the signature carved on the piece and its condition, I simply listed it as the work of a Shozan artist from the Showa period. This was an accurate description based on the information available to me.

I did not state or imply that it was the work of the famous Edo-period Shozan you are referring to.
