I can't help but point out that the plates aren't the same color and don't have the same angle. I assume they're second-rate. I would have preferred this to be clearly stated in the listing

This is a vintage Limoges set, so small variations in color or angle are normal for pieces made in different production batches. The plates are exactly as shown in the photos and are authentic

Negative experience.Awful conditions of the Limoges lot,described in good conditions with "small"signs due to the age.Colours faded away, huge scratches.Photos hiding real bad conditions.It is a shame

I'm sorry to hear that you're disappointed by your purchase. The condition of the coffee service was very clearly described mentioning all the defects (and not as you said in good condition with ''small'' sings due to age....): ''Gilt worn off, scratches and rubbed pattern in many places on all the items''.... This is a very old service of a nearly 100 years so it's not in a new condition. Besides the detailed description, if you had looked carefully at the photos, you would have seen all the defects very well captured. I also mentioned to look carefully at the photos because they are part of the description. The photos are not hiding the bad condition at all, on the contrary I captured the defects in close-up pictures. So next time before you bid for a very old item please read carefully and look at the photos very very carefully, pay attention to all the details and defects to avoid unpleasant surprises because no one is trying to trick you. I'm really sorry for this bad experience.

Compré este lote porque estaba muy completo y pagué caro precisamente por ello.No estaba bien empaquetado y dos piezas llegaron rotas. El vendedor y me propone 25€ por cada una. Es ridículo

Dear buyer! First of all I want to thank you for your purchase of the 2 large table services and for your confidence. As I already told you I'm really sorry for this inconvenience, but although they were very well packed, some things do not necessarily depend on us, how they are handled and transported....I tried to find a solution with you for these 2 plates arrived damaged but nothing sounds good to you, you refuse any of my proposals. 50 euros for 2 plates from this collection is more than correct. The amount you're asking, I'm sorry, but is outrageous. My proposal remains valid (to refund you or try to find 2 replacing plates) so you can contact me whenever you decide.

Superbly wrapped up in very firm package doubly protected. Plates better than expected as the rim is lighter and brighter blue than shown. Good quality and very happy with it all, many thanks!
