Love the panel but there is a shiny silver corner L- bracket screwed onto the left bottom corner that was not disclosed or pictured in the photos of the sale. A bit disappointing.

Hello dear collector, thank you for your feedback . Regarding your comment, you should consider that these are 15th-century ceiling paintings, very rare and valuable. Over the centuries, they have been "modified" for conservation purposes. Often, the museums where they are displayed add iron plaques to the back for better preservation. The plaque is not a defect, but rather a measure to ensure the painting's longevity. It was visible in the photos, but we don't think it could be a cause for disappointment or dissatisfaction. It's important to understand that when purchasing a vintage object, there are trade-offs to be made regarding restorations, repairs, supports, and signs of aging.
