    Would have been nice if the seller placed an honest description. The box is not original and neither is the dial. It's nog even worth half of the expert's estimate. Regretting this buy.

    Hello sir, Sorry you was disappointed with your purchase. Regarding the box, we can confirm is an genuine JLC box, but not a 70 year old box. To our knowledge, the dial is original but could have been restored by a previous owner. We feel the pictures in the listing clearly show all aspects of the item and Catawiki's expert's guided us on the price, which it still didn't achieve. We hope you consider us for future business.     Hi Zita, We are a trusted seller on Catawiki. We sell high end items and all of our customers have received there items that has been sent. We have never had any unhappy customers and send everything signed for and insured. The diary is a free gift with purchase to all online sales. We have informed Catawiki and given all evidence to prove that the item was present when sent. Unfortunately we cannot comment on any tapering done when the item reached Portugal. You had suggested that the free gift diary had caused the tear in the envelope? If this was the case, why did you sign for a damaged parcel?. Your first initial message to us was that the ring was not inside the box, no mention of tampering of the parcel. We showed you the weight of the contents without the ring inside the box and the weight was 2 grams lighter to the parcel dispatched. After this you have now suggested the parcel had a tear when received? Also why contact us a week after receiving the parcel? Kindest regards.
