Failed to post so a week later Catawiki had to refund me, the seller said they sold the item back in April to someone else. 

Copie du 20ème siècle, malheureusement; et pas si rare, dans l'historique du vendeur, car c'est la 4ème qu'il vend en trois ans (voir ses évaluations avec photos)...bizarre que l'expert laisse passer.

Dear Josselin CAMARET believe it’s unfair to leave negative feedback without explaining your reasoning. I asked you to show how you reached this conclusion — what comparisons you made or whether you consulted an expert — but I never received an answer. I also pointed out that similar fittings appear on many Roman legioners scabbards and gave examples of bronze and silver brooches with the same shape and size. Finally, who would bother to make a fake item with 30 euros value?

 I would like to clarify that the letter of provenance was not included in the shipment for security reasons, which I prefer not to discuss publicly. I responded to all your questions within 24 hours, and the provenance letter was sent through the Catawiki system and via email, and it is also downloadable from the website.

I explained that the delay was due to customs, which has become more complex after Brexit, as all shipments from the UK to Europe now go through customs control. This information regarding shipping between the UK and Europe is clearly outlined in the Catawiki listing.
