    Die Ware wurdenicht geschickt. Angeblich war der Verschluss plötzlich defekt. Ich gehe davon aus, dass das Gebot nicht hoch genug war, denn die Kette wurde dann beim Goldschmied verkauft.

    I understand how you feel, and I would likely feel the same in your position. Please know that I have been honest throughout this process. For them to cancel the order I provided proof of the broken lock to Catawiki’s customer service to explain why the cancellation was necessary. This was an unfortunate situation beyond my control. While I did sell the vintage item to a gold buyer, it was only as scrap gold and your offer was higher than what I ultimately received. As the owner of the item, I have the right to decide how to proceed, including choosing to sell it rather than repair it. I hope we can move forward with a positive understanding. Thank you

    Thank you for your feedback. I’m so sorry for the inconvenience. The item was sold on another platform before Catawiki could cancel the auction in time. As a seller, I can’t rely solely on one platform, so I also list pieces elsewhere to reach a wider audience. Unfortunately, there was an overlap on this occasion.
