An Antique King George III Sterling Silver pair of large table candlesticks. This Regency style candlesticks, having round baluster bodies, sitting on round bases, all with hand-chased melon-fluted decoration and applied gadroon borders. They have green velvet underneath the bases and have detachable scones.

Made in Sheffield, 1814 & 1815 (210 & 211 years old)
Made by: One is made by Battie, Howard & Hawksworth (Partnership dissolved Feb 1834 and the business continued as Howard & Hawksworth.)
The other one I believe is made by George Eadon & Co.
Fully English hallmarked for sterling silver.

The dimensions of this fine pair of hand-made antique silver candlesticks are:
Length 31 cm
Wide at base 13.7 x 13.7 cm
Approx. 980 + 1112 = 2092 gram (weighted for stability) (bobèches weigh 68 grams together)

Condition: Fair but still in very good usable condition considering it's age of 210 years old. Hallmarks slightly rubbed. One candlestick has a small lean. On picture 12, you can see due of polishing through the years there appeared some tiny holes on the decoration.
Next to that some tiny pinprick and very tiny indentations here and there. Both scones have theire usermarks, due of polishing through the years and one has a tiny split next to where you push the candle in.
