Here is a fantastic green 'verdelite' tourmaline floater, supporting perfectly clear quartz, pinkish lepidolite mica and bluish white albite. Notice also the pink rubellite cores inside each tourmaline crystal!
Both sides display nicely and the specimen is in unusually excellent condition wile never prepped with modern means.
This outstanding specimen was part of the very distinctive discovery made in the 1970's in Pederneira mine, from which most of the best verdelite tourmaline-quartz combinations come.
A superb tourmaline, that would deserve a custom milled base to be displayed vertically in your showcase: this service of creating a high quality custom base for this specimen will be offered for free, upon request of the highest bidder after the sale.
