Thirteen piece game tableware set by The English ‘Palissy’, which has disappeared in the meantime, though was a part of the Royal Worcester Group in the 1970s. The set consists of a lidded tureen, large serving plate and 11 flat dishes. Decorated in great detail with various types of game. Colourfully depicted in their natural surroundings. The edges of the set are richly decorated with a broad flower and leaves garland. The lid of the tureen is decorated with a couple of partridges and hares. The large serving plate depicts a couple of pheasants. One plate with two wild boars, two with a fox, two with partridges, two with ducks, two with a hare and two with snipes. Dimensions The lidded tureen has diameter of 24 cm and a height of 17 cm. The oval serving plate has a length of 40.5 cm and a width of 32 cm. The dishes have a diameter of 25 cm. The combined weight is approx. 9 kilograms. All parts are marked with the 1970s stamp: ‘Palissy England -Est. 1853 – A Member of the Worcester Group – Game Series’. Game tableware set with the normal signs of use, though without chips or glued parts. The set is in good, used condition, see photos. It is really inviting to use the set, because of its good condition and frivolity. It is a nice eye catcher for dinner. The game tableware set will be carefully packaged and sent by parcel service.
