The Seiko Macchina Sportiva chronograph was the renewed collaboration between Seiko and Giugiaro Design for a new collection of four chronographs. Macchina Sportiva fuses the uniquely high functionality of Seiko’s leading calibers with Italian design. In Italian language “macchina sportiva” means “sportycar”. Around the outside of the ovoid shaped case are three round pushers, a small crown at 4 o'clock and a push pull crown at three o'clock. The pushers at 2 and 10 o'clock control the chronograph, the small crown and the pusher at 8 o'clock control the alarm function.
