The tea set (can also be used as a coffee set) is by OL ONEIDA U.S.A., one of the leading companies in the use of high quality materials and craftsmanship. OL stands for ONEIDA Ltd. and was founded in 1935. (Ltd. is a corporate structure comparable with a Dutch B.V. or N.V.) This beautiful antique silver plated tea set is of very good quality, as can be seen in the photos. The cutlery is not perfect of course, but in very good condition with few signs of wear. The tea set has a Victorian look, which can be seen in the elegance of the handle, the spout, the feet and the knob on the teapot and sugar bowl which are in the shape of a floral pattern. This has become a rare pattern, which makes it more precious than later patterns because this is not manufactured anymore.
