Gübelin - triple calendar moonphase watch - Unisexe - 1950-1959

Big 40 mm Gübelin triple calendar moonphase watch, with a Felsa 693 Bidynator automatic calibre, rare fancy lugs Fine and rare Gubelin complete calendar with moon phase, produced in the fifties. 40 mm (without crown) steel case with welded lugs, dial with windows of the day and the month, date and moon phase panoramic, central seconds. In wonderful condition The movement is the famous Felsa 695 Bidynator, a great movement featuring patented Bidynator technology allowing the barrel to be wound while rotor moves in both directions. Here in its best finish with "Geneva stripes" on the movement. When Rolex had blocked the overall market for these automatic moon phase calibres with the registration of its own patent on a triple calendar automatic movement, which has been issued as a self-development of Rolex, but in reality only a copy of the much earlier existing calibre AS 1402 N Adolph Schild S.A., Felsa brings additional sophistication supplement. Felsa founded in 1918 and 1928 is divided into the Ebauches Felsa AG, Lengnau (Canton of Bern), bypass the legal obstacles. Felsa 692/93 calibre launched in 1942 (11 1/2 lines, height 5.8 mm) caused a "switch" to gear based on the polarization of the rotor movement. The elevator was therefore made in both directions of rotation of the flywheel mass. It's as if a ray of sunshine were coming through the clouds. They kindly smile to fellow human beings and reap love and benevolence. What does your moon phase tell you? The watch comes with a black leather strap, 23 cm length, shipped with full insurance
