Very beautiful and rare Buren Grand Prix WWW "Dirty Dozen" military watch from 1944. Manual winding movement 15J This watch has a very special and unique place in world history. IMPORTANT: Black dial restored, hands not original. In perfect working condition. Buren was one of the manufacturers...the other ones were...Cyma, Record, Longines, Omega, Timor, Lemania, Grana, Jaeger LeCoultre, Vertex, Eterna and IWC. Enicar was one of them as well, but this company never delivered. Of all the "dirty-dozen" watches, approximately 150,000 were made, in total. The chromed case measures approx. 36 mm, with fixed bars in the lugs. Usually the chromed cases are in very poor condition. This one still looks just fine after about 70 years (only some scratches and slight discolouration here and there...). The watch comes with a leather Zulu strap long 27 cm.
