This is an original prewar and rare oil can of SHELL MOTOR OIL. It is in exceptional good condition considering its age. The lithography is fresh in colour and the can is, except for some signs of wear (a few scratches/dents) fresh and complete. Even the original pressure closure that needs to be pressed to open it is still present. The can comes from Belgium The text is bilingual on one side in French ("litre" and "modèle déposée") and on the other side in Dutch ("liter"" and "registered model"). It is also apparent from the designation of the lithographer "Etching. J.B. Gabriels Bruxelles". Also on the pressure closure, although difficult to read, there is a bilingual manual.
