Since the mid-1980s, the Italian company Ior Valdada Optic has been making super high-quality binoculars. Together with the company CARL ZEISS, IOR supplied military optics to many eastern European armies, Warsaw Pact, e.g. Romania.
The IOR 7 x 40 has a metal housing, the lenses have T3 magnesium fluoride, anti-light permeability,
bak4 porro prism, waterproof and with nitrogen filling against condensation on the lenses.
These binoculars also have a fold-out IR FILTER, in the left lens (not present in the normal versions)
The right lens contains the so-called strichplatte, cross for determining distance.
The field of view is no less than 148 m (wide image).
