Beautifully designed drawing table by Lucien Sautereau (ETS L. Sautereau Co., Crépy-en-Valois, France) by UNIC Studios Paris France. This beautiful piece of industrial design is at least as stylish as Reply drawing tables by Friso Kramer.
The table is adjustable thanks to the counterweight.
The table has a galvanised steel and cast-iron counterbalance that regulates the angle/turning position of the table. The original mechanism, which can easily set the table in the correct position when unlocked, functions perfectly. Excellent hardwood surface with a nice patina and original metal labels.
Can be used as a table when level. Canted it can be used as an easel or art display.
It has a triangular discolouration in the centre which could be removed by means of a minor sanding treatment.
For purists, this discolouration with the patina on the metal frame is an extra addition.
Table will not be shipped due to its size and weight. Can be delivered within the Netherlands for a reasonable fee.
