The 246 F1 used a Dino V6 engine, this was the first use of a V6 engine in a Formula One car. The Ferrari 246 F1 was good enough to win a World Championship for Mike Hawthorn and a second place in the Constructors' Championship for Ferrari. Tony Brooks brough the 246 F1 home in second place at the 1959 Monaco Grand Prix. This very collectible, and rare, Ferrari authorized 'La Storia' is a Ferrari boxed 1/43 replica, housed within a tin 'book' which is hand signed by Brooks on the inside of the lid, also signed in the accompanying leaflet, the model is in very good condition - a hard to find model. The outer box shows signs of wear and there is a small dent in the tin book spine, supplied with a COA.
