Very nice ALG storm lamp, type Marine. ALG Guillouard is a French manufacturer that still makes (or again manufactures) storm lamps. They are known for their very good tin-plating and that is also evident in this one. There's still a lot of pewter present. As can be seen, it is in a working condition, with a new wick, guaranteed to be leakproof. This ALG Marine storm lamp is in a very good condition and a true collector’s item. Dates presumably from the 1950s, although this is difficult to determine because not much is known about it. Height 40 cm excluding handle. The glass is unmarked The bottom edge is slightly dented, but not annoying. Storm lamps are excellent for use as atmospheric lighting or for decoration. They also fit very well in an industrial interior. But, of course, they can also be used outside. Will be properly packed and shipped.
