A Tale of Cake 2020 This limited-edition whisky has been finished in the finest Tokaji dessert wine casks. The liquid is a rich copper, but the taste is pure technicolour, luscious, sweet and complex with multi-layered bursts of honey, white chocolate and fruits with a lilting hint of mint. A Tale of Winter 2021 A warm and spicy single malt from Glenmorangie that embodies all of the comfort of a Christmas jumper. Matured for 13 years and finished in Marsala wine casks from Sicily, this whisky offers aromas of orange toffee, lavender honey, rose petals and overripe fruits that fill the nose. The palate offers notes of cocoa powder, red pepper, brazil nuts, toffee, white pepper spice, sweet malt, ginger and cinnamon that linger in the finish. A Tale of Forest 2022 Lush and invitingly herbaceous, Glenmorangie A Tale of the Forest is Glenmorangie’s first whisky crafted from barley kilned with woodland botanicals. Inspired by the ever changing natural wonder he encounters while wandering in the forest near his home, Glenmorangie’s Director of Whisky Creation, Dr Bill Lumsden, brought back an ancient method of kilning barley with botanicals. In this case, he chose juniper berries, birch bark and heather flowers. A Tale of Tokyo Combining bright, bold flavours with soft sweetness, Glenmorangie A Tale of Tokyo is a Highland single malt Scotch whisky as full of delicious sensory contrasts as Tokyo itself. Inspired to capture his experience of Tokyo’s many sensory dimensions and to experiment with rare Japanese Mizunara oak casks for the first time, Dr Bill united Glenmorangie part-aged in Mizunara oak with whisky that had spent time in both sherry and bourbon casks, for a unique limited-edition that’s perfectly balanced with Glenmorangie’s house-style. The whisky fuses notes of pepper with bitter cherries and mouth-watering orange zest with incense and sweet oak – a unique and complex flavour profile resulting from the recipe of Mizunara oak, Bourbon and Sherry casks.
