François Halma (Langerak, January 3, 1653 – Leeuwarden, January 13, 1722) was a Dutch printer, publisher and bookseller, successively in Utrecht, Amsterdam and Leeuwarden. Halma worked in Utrecht from 1674, where he established himself as a bookseller and was appointed academic printer in 1684. After moving to Amsterdam in 1699. In 1701 he was appointed as academy printer of Franeker, and in 1709 as States printer of Friesland. He moved to Leeuwarden in 1711, where he died in 1722. Halma published many works, including in the fields of theology, philosophy and geography.

François Halma (Langerak, January 3, 1653 – Leeuwarden, January 13, 1722) was a Dutch printer, publisher and bookseller, successively in Utrecht, Amsterdam and Leeuwarden.
Halma worked in Utrecht from 1674, where he established himself as a bookseller and was appointed academic printer in 1684. After moving to Amsterdam in 1699. In 1701 he was appointed as academy printer of Franeker, and in 1709 as States printer of Friesland. He moved to Leeuwarden in 1711, where he died in 1722.
Halma published many works, including in the fields of theology, philosophy and geography.
