Stunning bust of the Greek Roman Goddess Artemis / Diana Artemis / Diana was one of the most widely venerated of the Ancient Greek deities. The Romans referred to her as Diana. She was the Hellenic goddess of the hunt, wild animals, wilderness, childbirth, virginity and protector of young girls, bringing and relieving disease in women. She often was depicted as a huntress carrying a bow and arrows. This bust is based on the famous marble sculpture "The Diana of Versailles" located in the Musée du Louvre, Paris. The sculpture is in a great condition for its age. There are no chips and hardly any damage. Good to note is that the statue is light in weight and more suitable for indoor use.
