The Bolex camera was known for its precision manufacturing and versatility.
This example is not in perfect condition.
There are clear signs of use on the housing.
There is also a problem with the film chamber closing properly.
The spring-loaded, constant-speed motor mechanism works.
It is possible to adjust the speed over the full range.
Variable speed: 8, 16, 24, 32 and 64 frames per second.
The spring cannot be over-wound.
The rotating turret accommodates three interchangeable C-mount lenses.
The top position allows focusing through an enlarged glass screen.
Release button: allows continuous exposures to be made by releasing your finger from the front of the camera.
The side shutter button also works.
Allows you to lock the camera, work hands-free or expose single frames.
The camera has not been tested with film. Therefore, it is sold as a monument of film technology.
