Wonderful 1960s Bolex movie camera, with an unconventional design, in perfect condition that works perfectly, with its original leather bag.
Some small signs of wear due to age, especially the eyepiece as can be seen in the photos.
The Bolex 150 Super movie camera is a Super 8 movie camera introduced in 1967
Here are some of its main features:
Weight: 2 pounds, 6 ounces. (1.08 kilograms)
Type: Super 8 cartridge loading, battery operated
Power: Camera motor: four 1.5v AA batteries.
Exposure Control: Two 1.35v PX-13 mercury cells
Lens: Paillard 8.5mm-30mm f/1.9 zoom lens. The focal length is controlled by turning a milled knob, equipped with a folding lever. The 32" to infinity focus is controlled by a milled knob.
Auto Exposure: Fully automatic exposure control; Aperture lock for manual exposure control.
Viewfinder: Reflex vision with semi-reflective prism system. Adjustable knob for image sharpness.
Single speed: 18 frames per second.
Shutter button: You can take continuous exposure with a shutter button on the front of the grip. The trigger can be flipped up to prevent accidental shooting.
Footage Counter: A large, nice clock-style footage indicator, divided into 24 8-second sectors, shows how much film is left in the camera.
Single Frame: A specially designed accessory, placed in front of the regular release, allows the user to expose single frames for shooting animations, titles, etc.
Grip: Built-in grip with shutter button and 1/4" tripod socket.
This movie camera has a built-in lens, a bright reflex viewfinder, and a film camera located on the top of the camera body.
