A stunning multi-colored necklace of Tahitian pearls, selected for their shimmering peacock, olive and silver overtones, and finished with a solid invisible clasp.
The exotic Tahitian pearl is grown for around 2 years in the black-lipped Pinctada maxima oyster from the warm saltwater lagoons of French Polynesia.
The multi overtones of these pearls are carefully matched to create an elegant necklace that is unique and easy to wear.
The pearls are graduated in size between 8.2 and 11.5mm diameter and have an excellent sharp lustre with light natural growth characteristics on the surface that do not detract from the elegance of the necklace.
The necklace is strung by hand with knots between each pearl for safety and is completed with a secure invisible clasp.
One end pearl receives a fine quality screw and the other end pearl a bolt mechanism. The clasp easily functions by pushing one pearl against the other and gently twisting it counter clockwise to unlock, and clockwise to lock. Upon closure, the screws are fully hidden, offering a clean and elegant look.
At 44cm the necklace sits nicely under the collarbone.
