Impressive and unusual Italian Art Deco glazed ceramic womans head with scarf in bright colors and very sharply painted, by Guido Cacciapuoti, around 1935.
Hand formed and very well executed.
Impressed signatures on the back side: G J Elcod and G Cacciapuoti, as well as original label with hand written number on the base.
The item is in absolute excellent condition: no chips, hairlines or any other damage to be found.
No restorations. (Checked under the green felt on the base).
It is the best piece by Cacciapuoti in its kind that I have ever seen, and in quality comparable with the better pieces of Lenci.
Item wil be very well packed and shipped double-boxed.
