Located in Meursault in Côte-d'Or to the south of Dijon, this estate has been producing Burgundy wines for almost two centuries. Worthy heirs of family traditions, they continue production with respect for the terroirs. To do this, they follow the principle of sustainable agriculture. Their daughters Adèle and Elsa joined them in 2008. They represent the new generation of Domaine Matrot Thierry and Pascale. Geographical location of Domaine Matrot Thierry and Pascale Domaine Matrot Thierry et Pascale extends over the communes of Meursault, Auxey-Duresses and Puligny-Montrachet. He also owns plots in Monthelie, Saint-Romain, Saint-Aubin and Volnay. The vines planted in Aligoté, Pinot Noir and Chardonnay are cultivated with organic manure and the plots are plowed. Yield is checked during pruning and disbudding. Domaine Matrot ages in 228 liter oak barrels for 11 to 18 months.
