Here we have a wonderful watercolour by the artist Charles Frederick Allbon. The painting depicts a river scene with windmill and boats and is titled ‘Zwizndrecht, Holland’. The painting is signed and dated lower left 'Chas F Allbon 1896. A delightful antique painting that would grace any wall in your home. Painter and etcher of landscapes and seascapes. He studied at Croydon School of Art and exhibited at the RA and RE of which he was elected an Associate in 1887. He was also a member of the Langham Sketching Club.
