Silly Symphonies - Mickey Mouse - Felix the Cat - 20 Offset Print - by Walt Disney - 1932

Extremely rare surviving episodes cut out from various newspapers featuring Silly Symphonies and Mickey Mouse. This bundle contains 20 full page episodes between January 17 (this is the second episode) until June 1932 . Each page features Silly Symphonies on top, and Mickey Mouse below. The pages are in good condition, wrinkles, tears, flaking will occur, look at the photos for details. Each page has comics printed recto/verso. On the verso side, there are various comics like Felix The Cat and one TImle Theatre featuring Popeye, look at the photos. Silly Symphony (initially titled Silly Symphonies) was a weekly Disney comic strip that debuted on January 10, 1932, as a topper for the Mickey Mouse strip's Sunday page. The strip featured adaptations of Walt Disney's popular short film series, Silly Symphony, which released 75 cartoons from 1929 to 1939, as well as other cartoons and animated films. The comic strip outlived its parent series by six years, ending on October 7, 1945. Silly Symphony initially related the adventures of Bucky Bug, the first Disney character to originate in the comics. It went on to print loose adaptations of Silly Symphony shorts, often using the characters and setting of the original shorts, but adding new plotlines and incidents. Will be shipped with Bpost track&trace For combined shipment, please contact me after the auction and hold payment until I have adjusted shipping costs. #specialcollectionservice.
