Ferme de la Sansonnière: 2019 Les Vieilles Vignes des Blanderies & 2020 x2 La Lune - Loire - 3 Bouteilles (0,75 L)

Ferme de la Sansonnière 2019 Les Vieilles Vignes des Blanderies (demi-sec) 2020 x2 La Lune (sec) MARK ANGELS / THOUARCÉ Born to a mother from Corsa and a father from Marseille, Mark Angeli, in 1989 he bought the Domaine de la Sansonnière, in Loire, where he created a small paradise of the past: he breeze Breton "pois noire" cows to have a manure of absolute quality, he grows two hectares with wheat and 8 hectares with vineyards. To complete the painting he uses solar electricity with photovoltaic panels and a tractor that works with sunflower oil that he himself cultivated. It seems to be talking about a pure dreamer but he is considered, even at national level, one of the best producers in this region. Since 2003, the vineyards are no longer totally ploughed but tilled, rough and re-eluted under the rows, while the grass is left between them, then mown down when necessary. He works in the vineyard with the help of Stéphane Bernaudeau, the young 'near' of the house, who already owns the homonymous Domaine. Needless to say, it uses biodynamic farming methods; the vines grow freely without any wooden support, iron wire and so on, so that they can fully enjoy permanent lighting on the 2 sides. The grapes, carefully selected at their proper ripeness, are pressed into two old vertical presses that give an absolutely perfect must; the juice is extracted in sweetness, for the duration of 24 hours. We avoid de-sarping, filtration, clarification and the addition of sulphur: only long fermentations in amphorae or oak barrels. Its best products include the Amphores moon, the Les Vieilles Vignes Des Blanderies, the magnificent 'Les Gelinettes' and many other great wines, all in full respect of nature, the terroir and the traditions.
