Stunning and large Lower Paleolithic Acheulian Quartzite Handaxe from Morocco measuring 17cm in length. Made by Homo erectus from 1000,000 - 500,000 years ago, this Lower Paleolithic Acheulean handaxe is in excellent condition with no modern damage. The artifact has a lovely desert patina typical of many North African Paleoliths.
