Inna Etuvgi, alias My Psychedelic Garden - Tulip. Light. Love

“Just a tulip, just beautiful light and love… what more is there to enjoy?” "TULIP. LIGHT. LOVE." offers a tender portrait of a tulip, its soft contours and hues illuminated by an aquamarine glow—the result of the setting sun filtering through water in a glass vase. Captured by art photographer Inna Etuvgi using a vintage Soviet Union lens, the image is suffused with a dreamlike softness that accentuates the vivid colors. This macro photograph is more than just a visual treat; it's a celebration of the nuanced interplay of light and love, capturing the delicate beauty of life in a single bloom. It invites viewers to pause and indulge in a moment of serene contemplation. Highlighted as part of the 'BEST OF APRIL' collection by Artfinder in 2021, "TULIP. LIGHT. LOVE." stands as a testament to the emotive power of simplicity and the beauty that surrounds us. ABOUT THE PRINT:

Etuvgi’s works are featured in “Photography in the Visual Culture” 22/23 book. Navigating life with Aphantasia, Inna's mind doesn't visualise, but it pulsates with vivid concepts, emotions, and sensations. She uses her camera not merely to explore the world but to externalise her unique mental landscapes, making them visible. Art critic Tabish Khan says about Inna’s art: “her work is about transporting us to other worlds - both real and imaginary, but always in harmony with nature. She may have a mind blind to visualisation, but she has eyes and a camera that capture the beauty in the worlds that the rest of us often overlook and take for granted.”
