Up for auction, this EXCEEDINGLY RARE 2nd print of JK Rowling’s first Harry Potter book: The Philosopher’s Stone. (See number countdown from 10 to 2 on copyright page) Being just the second print, this features the early author name misprint ‘Joanne Rowling’ on the copyright page (which was later changed to JK Rowling so as not to put off young boys from reading it). The book is in overall very good condition, with absolutely NO clean inner pages, no marks, annotations, inscriptions or any other blemished The boards are clean and bright, square and sharp, without any bumped corners. The jacket has small signs of wear to the spine extremities and corners (see pics), but otherwise presents in good condition. The jacket is also UNCLIPPED, showing the correct £10.99 price.
