About the estate
Owned by the Cordier estates, Château Talbot has always been considered the twin brother of Château Gruaud Larose. Located north of it, Talbot adjoins the vineyards of Léoville Poyferré. Its vast vineyard of one piece rests on gravel in the limestone subsoil.
About the cuvée
The wines, vinified with the precious advice of the oenologist Jacques Boissenot, are regularly opulent but of great elegance. Their open character and silky tannins allow to taste them young as after a long aging in the cellar.
