The album belongs to a first class soldier of the Blackshirt battalions sent to Ethiopia during the fascist invasion of 1935, the compiler of the photographic collection appears in numerous images. Some photos are particularly interesting, the most important is perhaps the one that documents some bodies of recently massacred Ethiopians, many others show important details of the uniforms and equipment supplied to the Black Shirts as well as planes, military and railway vehicles and infrastructures.
