This was published in Prog (issue) #210 of the Science Fiction comic 2000ad on 2-5-1981 Portrait of a Mutant was an exceptionally poignant story in the Strontium Dog saga, as it explains the origins of the Bounty Hunting Strontium Dogs, and also the birth and upbringing of Johnny Alpha- Mutant turned rebel leader. In this page, Johnny Alpha and the Mutant Generals vote on whether to go to war against Nelson Kreelman and his Kreelers, who have outlawed mutants to hold jobs or own property, and have been sending them to labour camps.
