Meissen ceremonial plate or ceremonial bowl with hand-painted decorations and highlighted relief in the neo-Gothic style, made between 1820 and 1840. The plate was made by Meissen in the early days of porcelain production.
It is probably one of the earliest E. A, Leuteritz pieces.
The plate is extremely rare, made by hand and is no longer produced in this unique version.
It is a perfect 1st choice production.
The early porcelain is special because you can clearly see the transition from Böttger stoneware to today's fine porcelain. Possibly one of the earliest pieces of porcelain that can be found and therefore priceless.
It has a diameter of 26.5 cm, is 4 cm high and weighs a heavy 765 grams.
The plate has no chips or damage and is in excellent condition for its 200 years. The decoration probably contained gilding that has rubbed off over time. The painting was still top glaze and has occasionally rubbed off due to its enormous age.
