Original Sand-coloured cloth, spine lettered in gilt, upper board with centre gilt motto of double crossed swords ('The sword also means clean-ness and death'). Top page edges gilt. Book Dimensions: 26 x 20 x 5 cm and Number of Pages: 672 including 2 appendix and index Weighing in excess of 2 kilograms. Condition Firm and well bound copy. External covers are in nice shape, with light faded marks to edges. Internally the book is in very good condition. A name with pencil on the first blank front free endpaper. Pages are clean, with occasional light foxing on some pages, and page edges. All pages are tightly held at the gutter. Inner hinges are very good.
